RTN was registered with the SEC on July 15, 1965, is a 60% owned subsidiary of the company, and is primarily engaged in the exploration, mining and exporting of nickel ore and providing non-mining services located in Bataraza, Palawan. The registered office address of RTN is 2nd Floor, NAC Centre, 143 Dela Rosa Street, Legaspi Village, Makati City, Philippines. As of 2010, RTN has shipped 26.8 million WMT of nickel ore. It has been shipping nickel ore to Japan since 1977, to the Coral Bay HPAL Plant since 2005, and to China since 2007.


Taganito Mining Corp.
TMC was registered with the SEC on March 4, 1987, is a 65% owned subsidiary of the company, and is primarily engaged in the exploration, mining and exporting of nickel ore located in Claver, Surigao del Norte. The registered office address of TMC is 4th Floor, NAC Centre, 143 Dela Rosa Street, Legaspi Village, Makati City, Philippines. As of 2010, TMC has shipped 11.0 million WMT of nickel ore. It has been shipping nickel ore to Japan since 1989, to Australia since 1999, and to China since 2007.


Cagdianao Mining Corp.
CMC was registered with the SEC on July 25, 1997, is a 100% owned subsidiary of the company, and is primarily engaged in the exploration, mining and exporting of nickel ore located in Cagdianao, Dinagat. The registered office address of CMC is 4th Floor, NAC Centre, 143 Dela Rosa Street, Legaspi Village, Makati City, Philippines. As of 2010, CMC has shipped 5.6 million WMT of nickel ore. It has been shipping nickel ore to Japan since 2000, to Australia since 2000, and to China since 2006.


Hinatuan Mining Corp.
HMC was registered with the SEC on October 9, 1979, is a 100% owned subsidiary of the company, and is primarily engaged in the exploration, mining and exporting of nickel ore located in Taganaan Island, Surigao del Norte. The registered office address of HMC is 4th Floor, NAC Centre, 143 Dela Rosa Street, Legaspi Village, Makati City, Philippines. As of 2010, HMC has shipped 17.2 million WMT of nickel ore. It has been shipping nickel ore to Japan since 1982, to Australia since 2005, and to China since 2005.


Samar Nickel Mining Resources Corp.
SNM was registered with the SEC on May 11, 2010, is a 100% owned subsidiary of the company, and is primarily engaged in the exploration, mining and exporting of nickel ore located in Manicani Island, Eastern Samar. SNM has not yet started commercial operations. The registered office address of SNM is 4th Floor, NAC Centre, 143 Dela Rosa Street, Legaspi Village, Makati City, Philippines.


Cordillera Exploration Co., Inc.
CEXCI was registered with the SEC on October 19, 1994, is a 71.25% owned subsidiary of the company (after SMM’s first investment), and is primarily engaged in the business of large-scale exploration, development and utilization of mineral resources. CEXCI has a number of mining properties at various stages of exploration, all located in the central Cordillera area of Northern Luzon. CEXCI has not yet started commercial operations. Taganito HPAL Nickel Corp.
THPAL was registered with the SEC on August 22, 2008, is a 22.5% owned affiliate of the company, and is primarily engaged in the manufacture and export of nickel / cobalt mixed sulfide material. THPAL will own and operate the proposed Taganito HPAL Plant, currently under construction adjacent to the TMC mine site. The registered office address of THPAL is 24th Floor, Pacific Star Building, Makati Avenue corner Sen. Gil Puyat Avenue, Makati City, Philippines. The Taganito HPAL Plant is expected to commence operations in August 2013 at an annual capacity of 30,000 tonnes.


Coral Bay Nickel Corp.
CBNC was registered with the SEC on April 4, 2002, is a 10% owned affiliate of RTN, and is primarily engaged in the manufacture and export of nickel / cobalt mixed sulfide material. CBNC owns and operates the Coral Bay HPAL Plant located adjacent to the RTN mine site. The registered office address of CBNC is 24th Floor, Pacific Star Building, Makati Avenue corner Sen. Gil Puyat Avenue, Makati City, Philippines. The Coral Bay HPAL Plant commenced operations in April 2005 at an annual capacity of 10,000 tonnes, which was doubled to 20,000 tonnes in June 2009.
